Slotomania App Reviews
At the very begging of our Slotomania review, we would like to remind you that the game is for players over the age of 18 (or 21), and you cannot win real money. Nor can gaming Coins be converted into real rewards. All casino games in Slotomania are played in virtual in-game currency – Coins.
Notice:
Try out the all-immersive casino Slotomania on desktop too (slotomania.com)! This game is intended for an adult audience (21+) for amusement purposes only and does not offer ‘real money’ gambling, or an opportunity to win real money or prizes based on free casino and slot machine game play. 3.0 out of 5 starsfun & easy to play. Reviewed in the United States on January 14, 2013. Verified Purchase. Fun and easy to play. Does not pay back nearly as much as each 'spin' costs. The game is free to download and it gives you free 'coins' to start playing, but it does not pay back very much and it seems like all the game wants you to do is buy more coins with your own real money to give you more. Slotomania surprised random people with VIP membership for 3 days. I happened to be one of them. The announcement on the front of their app said that you were a premium VIP member for three days and gave a list of benefits. Slotomania is an online casino. However, it is not the typical one you are used to. It’s a social gaming online casino. It is the brain child of Playtika (the first company to create free to play casino games on social media platforms). Today, there are loads of different social online gaming apps as well as sites. The publisher of the famous casino app Slotomania is Playtika, which also developed a number of other casino apps such as World Series of Poker, Ceasers Slots, Poker Heat and Vegas Downtown. None of these, however, is as successful as Slotomania reviewed today. All of them are available on iOS or Android mobile phones.
How to Play Slotomania Slots for Free
Before you start playing, you must download the app or register on the Slotomania website. If you register via the website, all you need is an email address or Facebook. Since you cannot play for real money here, you do not need to prove your identity as in real money online casinos.
If you sign in via email, you receive a message that you do not need to respond. Which is a pity, because, in a similar casino application Gametwist, you will get a reward for an email confirmation.
If you decide to sign in via Facebook, be prepared to be bombarded with share requests. For example, every time you level up, or when you hit a big win. This happens quite often, especially at the beginning,
Once you are registered, you can start playing slots for free. The more you play, the more experience you get, and the faster you level up. With higher levels, you unlock new games, new quests, maximum bet and also get rewards for it.
How to Get a Slotomania Coins
To play Slotomaina games, you need game Coins. This virtual currency can be obtained in several ways. You will get a few thousand coins to start with as a newly registered player. After that, you can then win more Coins on slots, buy them at the store or get them in promotions and quests. Basically, you will get Slotomania Coins in the following ways:
- Win on a slot machine
- Bonus every 3 hours
- Daily Store Bonus
- Daily Dash tasks
- As you advance to the next level
- Slototquest – Complete tasks and earn game Coins
- VIP program Playtika Rewards
- Other seasonal promotions
- In-app purchases
Slotomania also offers the possibility of interacting with other players using so-called Clans. You can create your own Clan or join an existing one. In the Clan, you will get gifts from other players or receive weekly rewards for progress in the game.
Slots and Games in Slotomania
Slotomania, unlike other casino applications, offers its own slots. The games have similar graphics as the classic video slot machines that you can play in traditional online casinos. You will also meet the same bonus features, such as Wilds, Free Spins, and various types of progressive jackpots. Return to player figure is not published for individual games, but we estimate it will be lower than in real slots. We have tested some games, and most of the winnings were less than the initial bet.
There are currently over 100 online slot machines in the app. However, you cannot play all of them from the beginning. After registration, there is only one slot available. More games are unlocked, as players level up. However, the next unlocked games do not offer extra bonuses or better returns. Slots differ only in their graphic design or some elements like the size of jackpots.
Casino style iPhone apps have been popular lately. Slotomania by Playtika is an iPhone app, also for the iPad and iPod touch, that gives you a series of online-style slot machines that you can play directly from your iOS device. The app does a lot right: it has excellent graphics, fun sound, multiple machines, including those you have to unlock, and it provides an authentic online slot experience. For this review, we used the Apple iPhone 4S.
Anyone who has played slot machines at any of the major online casinos will be impressed by the experience that this application delivers. These games look and “feel” like the real deal. Graphic and sound quality is high. The games have all of the advanced features, including bonus games, which players have come to expect. There’s also a good deal of diversity. We expected a classic fruit machine or two, but the program has machines with many bet lines and interesting features.
More than a collection of slot machines, Slotomania is supposed to be a social experience, and this is where it begins to break down. There isn’t any real money involved. Players simply build up pools of funny money. If a player goes bankrupt, the service will reseed their account once every day, and players can purchase coins using real money. In addition, the “rich” people within a circle of friends can gift money to the less fortunate. You can see where they were going with this, but the problem is that they never actually realize on the social aspect of the application.
Slotomania App Review
At the end of the day, Slotomania is simply a series of play-for-free slot machines. There’s not a lot you can do within the social framework, and once you’ve played all the slot machines a couple of times, it gets very boring very fast. Further exacerbating these problems is the seemingly low win rate. These slot machines are the real deal in terms of how infrequently they hit. Chances are you’ll bust out quickly, and unless you have a rich friend in game, you’ll have to pony up real cash or wait for the next day.
The good news is that the Slotomania app is completely free, and we’d be lying if we didn’t admit to having fun during this review before we ran out of coins. If you want an iPhone app that you can use to kill some time every once in a while, Slotomania isn’t a bad program to have on your iPhone or iPod touch. On the other hand, you will run out of coins quick, and since there is very little incentive for you to plop down $1.99 or more for in-app purchases, we can’t really recommend Slotomania as a top-notch iOS casino game.
